Privacy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information PixTools handles, why, and the choices you have. PixTools image tools process selected images in your browser when possible. PixTools does not require an account, and the current tools do not upload your image to a PixTools server for background removal, image resizing, image upscaling, image conversion, OCR, or face blurring.

Images And Exports

Your browser may download model files needed to run some tools locally. Exported images are created on your device, and downloads are controlled by your browser's download settings. Face Blur may download a face detection model and MediaPipe WebAssembly assets before processing selected images locally. Image To Text may download OCR runtime files or language data before recognizing text locally. PixTools does not receive, store, or transmit the images you select for these tools.

Basic Site Data

Like most websites, hosting providers and browsers may handle basic technical data such as IP address, requested page, browser type, and timestamps in order to deliver the site, keep it reliable, and protect it against abuse. This information is used for operating the service and is not used to build advertising profiles by PixTools.

Contact Form Data

The contact page submits your name, email address, chosen topic, and message through a Google Forms endpoint operated by Google, so that information is handled by Google as a processor under Google's Privacy Policy. PixTools uses the details you send only to read and respond to your message. Please do not include private, sensitive, or confidential information in a contact submission.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

PixTools does not set cookies for the current image-tool workflows, and the tools run without requiring cookies or local accounts. Where cookies or similar technologies are introduced later, such as for advertising, this policy will describe them and, where legally required, a consent control will be shown before non-essential cookies are used.

Advertising

PixTools does not currently display advertising. PixTools intends to participate in Google AdSense in the future. When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, limit how often an ad is shown, and help detect and prevent abuse. Google's use of advertising cookies, including for personalized advertising, enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to PixTools and other sites on the internet.

You can review how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google's partner sites policy, control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalized advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu. Browser and device settings may also provide choices for cookies and similar technologies.

Analytics

PixTools does not currently use third-party analytics or tracking scripts. If analytics is added later, this policy will be updated to name the provider and describe what is measured before that script is enabled.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, to object to processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. PixTools does not sell personal information. Because the image tools run locally and PixTools does not maintain accounts, the main personal data PixTools holds is what you send through the contact form. To exercise any right, contact PixTools using the details below and identify the request you are making.

Children's Privacy

PixTools is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). PixTools does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the contact form, please contact PixTools so it can be removed.

Data Retention

Images and exports are not retained by PixTools because they stay on your device. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up. Basic technical logs held by hosting providers are retained according to their standard operational and security practices.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated as PixTools adds tools or services such as advertising or analytics. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised "Last updated" date, and the policy will be reviewed before any live ad scripts, analytics tools, payment services, or new third-party vendors are added.

Links And Contact

PixTools may link to third-party websites with their own privacy practices, and PixTools is not responsible for those sites. Questions about privacy, image handling, or your rights can be sent through the contact page or by email to [email protected].
